Countable noun

Countable nouns are nouns which can be  counted These are the name of object.. people.

countable noun കളെ singular എന്നും plural എന്നും രണ്ടായി തിരിക്കാം. ഇവ a, an ഉപയോഗിച്ച് എഴുതാന്‍ സാധിക്കും. 

 eg: a book, an apple

Singular - Plural  
Book - books
Tax - taxes
Body -  bodies
Man - men
Foot - feet
sheep - sheep
ox - oxen

Some nouns are always used in plural they are : scissors, spectacles, jeans, pants, pajama, people, police, cattle, remains, goods, public etc.   

Uncountable noun

Uncountable noun are nouns which cannot be counted. 

eg: information, knowledge, news, soap, chocolate, distance, time, furniture, music, sugar, work milk, water, money, poetry, transport, mathematics etc. 

Uncountable nounകളും singular ആയി കണക്കാക്കുന്നു. Uncountable nounന്‍റെ കൂടെ a, an ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നില്ല.

Uncountable noun കളെ countable ആക്കാന്‍ piece, bar, slice, pair  തുടങ്ങിയവ ചേര്‍ ക്കണം.

Chocolate -  A bar of Chocolate
Information - A piece of information

The radio news ----- at 10'clock
is
