Question tag

English ല്‍ ഒരു statement sentence നെയോഒരു imperative sentence നെയോ ഊന്നിപ്പറയാന്‍ ന്‍റെ അവസാനം ചേര്‍ക്കുന്ന നെയാണ് question tag എന്നുപറയുന്നത്.
He is a teacher,isn't he?

Rules 

The full stop in the sentence must be changed into a comma before adding the question tag.

Question tag always begins with a small letter and there is  a question mark at the end of the tag.

Tense of the sentence must be the tense of the question tag.

തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന sentence positive ആണെങ്കില്‍‍ question tag negative ആയിരിക്കണം.

തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന negative ആണെങ്കില്‍ question tag positive  ആയിരിക്കണം.

Few,little,hardly,scarcely, rarely,bare;y,seldom,no one,no body,none,nothing,never neither, nor തുടങ്ങിയവയിലേതെങ്കിലും ഉപയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള sentence നെ question tag ലേക്ക് മാറ്റുന്പോള്‍ not ചേര്‍ക്കരുത്. കാരണം ഇവയെ negative  പദങ്ങളായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.

a few, little എന്നിവ positive words ആയിപരിഗണിക്കുന്നതിനാല്‍ ഇവയുടെ കൂടെ negative tag വേണം
a few students are present,aren't they?

I am എന്നു തുടങ്ങുന്ന Positive sentence  ന്‍റെ question tag aren't I എന്നായിരിക്കും

I am not എന്നു തുടങ്ങുന്ന negative sentence ന്‍റെ question tag am I എന്നായിരിക്കും

തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ല്‍ auxiliary verb ഇല്ലായെങ്കില്‍ sentence ലെ main verb നെ split ചെയ്ത് കണ്ടെത്തണം
She sings well, ഈ sentence auxiliary verb ഇല്ലാത്തതിനാല്‍ main verb നെ split ചെയ്യണം

sings = does +sing
She sings well,doesn't she?

Sentence രണ്ടോ അതിലധികമോ auxiliary verb ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ആദ്യത്തെ auxiliary verb ആണ് ഉപയോഗിക്കോണ്ടത്.

These, those, few, a few, everybody,everyone,somebody,someone, anybody,nobody,no one, none, neither,either,each,some of them, all of the, എന്നീ വാക്കുകള്‍ sentence ല്‍ ആയി വന്നാല്‍ question tag ല്‍ ഇവ they എന്നായി മാറും

This, that,little,a little,infant,childഎന്നീ വാക്കുകള്‍ sentence ല്‍ ആയി വന്നാല്‍ question tag ല്‍ ഇവ It  എന്നായി മാറും

ഒരു simple imperative sentence അത് positive ആയാലും negative ആയാലും  question tag will you ആയിരിക്കും.

Let എന്നു തുടങ്ങുന്ന sentence question tag സാധാരണ shall we ആയിരിക്കും

Let me ആണങ്കില്‍ will you  ആയിരിക്കും
